Gate Packing

  • Isn't easy. It is nearly as much effort to pack a gate, as to make it! That's why it is costly. Each crate is build exactly to fit your gate.
  • Two-door gates requires TWO CRATES and TWO UPS BOXES, thereby doubling packing costs.
  • UPS can crush a gate, if it isn't crated. Unfortunately, despite clear stickers, some workers will stack a box on the middle of your gate box. With our gates, even double stacking won't affect your gate.
  • We build a frame around your gate, exactly to fit. We add cross slats on each side of your gate, and put a wood block in the middle to prevent crushing.

How to Unpack

  • Remove gate from industrial cardboard box, and remove cardboard protective sides.
  • You do not need to dismount the whole crate. Just use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the side slats.
  • Lift out your gate and remove its bubble wrap from around the edges.
  • During humid times, some gates may benefit from a wipe-down with 000 grade steel wool (which is always recommended before staining or painting)
